Besides the standard nuisances and inconveniences relating to holidays, we wonder how airlines, travel operators and shipping companies are able to minimize their liability risks. In recent years various travel operators and hotels are being criticized because of defective swimming-pools and airlines regularly because of compensatory payments in accordance to the Denied Boarding Compensation Regulation EC No 261/2004 as well as shipping companies because of the maritime disaster in Italy. We consult your company of how the liability risks can be reduced. Since 2009 lawyer Baark is certified as a lawyer for travel- and air law by the German Institute of Attorneys and a member of the German society for travel law (DGfR).
